Dragon Age: Origins Awakening Description
|
"From the Makers of the Best RPG of 2009, Dragon Age: Origins, comes the first official expansion pack. For centuries, the Grey Wardens—the ancient order of guardians, sworn to unite and defend the lands—have been battling the darkspawn forces. Legend spoke that slaying the Archdemon would have put an end to the darkspawn threat for centuries to come, but somehow they remain. You are the Grey Warden Commander and have been entrusted with the duty of rebuilding the order of Grey Wardens and uncovering the secrets of the darkspawn and how they managed to remain. How you choose to rebuild your order, how you resolve the conflict with “The Architect”, and how you determine the fate of the darkspawn will be but some of the many complex choices that await and shape your journey as you venture to the new land of Amaranthine. Dragon Age: Origins Awakening customer reviews:
|
Bug-ridden garbage Go look at the online gaming forums and you will see report after report of game-breaking BUGS. These are not the kind of bugs that show up in the field, such as compatibility issues. They are easily repeatable and Bioware was fully aware of the bugs when they released this. If they patch it, perhaps it will be worth your money. But don't pay them to be a beta tester. Selling crud like this is piracy.
Need DA:O to install Awakenings!! (for PC) Just received this expansion it turns out that dragon age origins needs to be installed for Awakenings to be installed on your pc. This is despite this claim in the product description: "Awakenings is a standalone expansion, meaning that ownership of the original game is not necessary." I played Origins on the PS3 so i have no Origins install on my comp... Sorely disappointed. Ill edit this review when I am able to play the game.
Lame Duck, sank the ship I had played and completed Dragon age twice , was looking forward to improting mymost recent character.
Loaded Awakenings...
failed, would not open...tried Dragon age Origins, will no longer load.
Uninstalled both, reloaded, still nothing, I paid $30 buck to be out two games, save time go waste $30 on somthing else
Bioware - WHAT HAPPEN? Origins was Awesome - Awakening SUCKS! Bioware -you really need to start reading reviews of Awakening and take into consideration what you are doing to Dragon Age 2- After Awakening - I afraid that you have lost the edge - the non-linear direction - the humor (real humor)- Character development - ROMANCE!, FRIENDSHIPS -UHG! I bought Dragon Age - ORIGINS for both the Xbox 360 and PC. Awakening I did the same - but took back the Xbox because I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed with the PC version!
1. carry the game on properly. If your ruling with King - then King should be available to you - we missed him so much in Awakening - very disappointed.
2. Let us choice the champion. I would not have chosen Olgren!
3. Romance is fun and exciting in Origins - I would have like it in this play through because not all had romances with 'Allistair'
I do hope that proper consideration is taken in Dragon Age 2 - Being able to choose human, elves, dwarfs - the ability to make your character look the way we wanted. Being able to build friendships, learn about individual party's pasts etc - It looks and appears Bioware is getting lazy -trying to go the way of Mass Effect - in Dragon Age 2 - (from what I've read) If I want to play Mass Effect -I will - I WANT TO PLAY DRAGON AGE - SIMILAR to ORIGINS - and Nothing like Awakening!
Dragon Age Expansion I love the game. The expansion was a bit too short to be classified as an expansion, in my opinion. Should have been sold as downloadable content. Enjoyable none the less.
