Adobe Acrobat Standard 9 Upgrade customer reviews: Worthwhile upgrade from version 6.0 The upgrade went smoothly and, at least from version 6.0, I found the new and improved functions worth the money. ADOBE ACROBAT STD 9 UPGRADE Got this upgrade because my husband purchased a newer computer, which wouldn't accept the Adobe 6 original. Works fine. Acrobat for Vista Version 9 seems to work better with Vista, which I now use for selected work. Acrobat 9 is just fine I went from version 6 to 9 in one jump. I like the interface better, much cleaner. Have had no problems and it loads all of the more recently created PDF's without squaking at me about newer features. Not an essential upgrade for me but glad i did it. Needed an upgrade for work. Version 9 works as good as 8, uses a bit more resources on the PC, and seems to be an unnecessary upgrade for the standard version when compared to 8 Standard. Limited backward compatibility (to encourage more upgrade$), but works better than the version 6 that this particular install replaced.
