Not bad at the right price Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5
This is an easy way to start a very simple website project if you don't have any experience, (like me), in putting together a website for the Internet. The software and manual takes you step by step on how to set up your graphics, text, and menus and is relatively easy to learn if you follow the tutorials.

While the program is good for producing a quick start up website, the design templates, and any additional one's you purchase, are rather lack luster and unimpressive. If you can pick up this program for a relatively cheap price, it may be just the ticket for you. But if it costs more than $50, you're not getting your money's worth with this product as it is an old version.

For an informal looking website, this program will do the job, but the results look rather homemade. Users of this program have stated that it is unstable and crashes on them, so beware. Another program that looks like a good alternative to the NetObjects Fusion line is Serif's WebPlus X2 Website Maker. I'll be reviewing that shortly. Stay tuned for more details folks.

WoW, Nothing Like Front Page! Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5Average rating of 3/5
I learned to build web pages with FrontPage 2000. This is nothing like FrontPage. This is going to take some time to learn and get use to. I am a little discouraged, but will give it more time. Nothing what I expected. I'm seriously thinking I should have upgraded to Frontpage 2003. Maybe I will write a better review once I get to know what in the hell I'm doing.

V7.5 not intuitive Average rating of 2/5Average rating of 2/5Average rating of 2/5Average rating of 2/5Average rating of 2/5
I've designed some simple pages over the years from share and freeware programs, the last using Namo Webeditor V4. I thought I was beyond the noob position but this program put me right back at the beginning.

After importing an already existing site, it inserted a template format over all the pages. (Hand smacking forehead) While this option can probably be turned off or adjusted, I am forced to dive into help menus to understand the "characteristics" of this program.

Maybe version 7 was simple to use. I have tried working with V7.5 for the past couple months and have not been satisfied with the integration of the features. It does have some nice aspects but if I have difficulty doing simple stuff, the complex features don't matter.

To me this has a moderate learning curve. I'm tired of trying to figure out the thinking behind NetObjects Fusion V7.5 and will keep searching for another web page development program. :(

NetObjects Fusion 7.0 Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5Average rating of 5/5
As a long time user of NetObjects 4.0 I found the 7.0 version much improved and more user friendly manual wise. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand the 7.0 version, merely a novice web designer. I've been designing websites since 1999 and wouldn't think of using anything but NetObjects for my projects.

I have been using this software since it was first released. I upgraded from version 3 to 5 and then to 7. Even though it is out of date now, I am still using it and it has been great for my site. I have more than 150 pages at my site, with downloads on many pages, links to hundreds of photos and graphics, and even videos. It took me awhile to learn how to use it and I am sure there are features I have not yet explored, but I am glad I purchased it.
